Who will come to power from among the Komatireddy brothers? The elder brother Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that the Congress is coming to power and the younger brother, Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy said that the BJP is coming to power in Telangana.
There were doubts among political observers that the younger brother Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy may join the Congress before the Assembly elections. Even TPCC General Secretary and Sathupally ticket hopeful Manavatha Roy had said a few days ago that it looks like BJP leader Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy may join the Congress.
There is no doubt that elder brother Komatireddy Venkat Reddy will continue in the Congress. If Komatireddy Rajgopal continues in the BJP, then TS politics would be quite interesting as both have said that their parties would come to power.
Both the brothers issued their statements on the same day, that is, on Thursday at different places. Elder brother Bhongir Congress MP Venkat said that the Congress will come to power after three months in Telangana.
He asked Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to give 24-hour power at least in the coming month instead of making false statements that the BRS government is providing free 24-hour power to farmers.
He said that the Rythu Bandhu sops given by the BRS government to farmers are not enough to pay even the interest on the loans they had taken from private lenders for Kharif.
Meanwhile, senior BJP leader Rajgopal declared on Thursday that the BJP will certainly come to power in Telangana. Participating in the Assembly constituency level core committee meeting held at the Nalgonda BJP office, Rajgopal said that defeating the BRS is possible only through the BJP which is in power at the Centre.
He made it clear that there was no question of letting go of KCR’s corruption and that the BJP would provide righteous governance to the people of Telangana.
One has to wait and see whose statement will become a reality or whether the statements of both brothers will turn out to be false.
