The BRS is gearing up to make its public meeting at Khammam a big success. Health Minister Harish Rao said that the Khammam public meeting would show the strength of Telangana and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to the country.

He said that this meeting is very important for the BRS as it is something that has never happened before. It would alter the course of national politics and impact Delhi politics, he added.

“Through the Khammam public meeting, the nation would be told of the accomplishments of BRS. With this meeting, the might of Telangana and KCR will be shown to the country,” Harish said.

Health Minister T. Harish Rao and MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy met representatives from several Assembly districts and MLAs and told them to mobilise people for the meeting.
He said the Chief Ministers of three states and national leaders like former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav are attending this meeting. As part of it, Harish attended the preparatory meeting organised at Kusumanchi in Khammam district.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that such a meeting has never been held in the country before. Ahead of Sankranti, Harish said that the real festival is making the Khammam Sabha a success.

The police commissioners of Warangal and Khammam reviewed the route map and security arrangements with senior police officials to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and provide enough parking space.

He said the Telangana model is being discussed across the country and the Centre is copying the schemes of Telangana. They said that the Centre copied our Rythu Bandhu and will give Rs 20,000 to farmers. He expressed his anger at the BJP for killing 750 farmers by introducing black farm laws.

He said that the income of farmers has not doubled under Prime Minister Modi’s government, but investment has doubled.

He said that no less than 50,000 people should attend from Paleru and that Paleru is the only constituency which has both Krishna and Godavari rivers.

He said the constituency did not receive even a single drop of water during the Congress regime, but the Bhaktar Ramdas project was completed in nine months under the leadership of KCR. He said that this honour goes to the BRS.

“Chandrababu, who said agriculture is waste, came here talking about farmers. He killed farmers for demanding free electricity. If such a person talks about farmers now people laugh,” Harish said.

KCR said that agriculture has become a festival. He said that Rs 65,000 crore have been deposited in farmers’ bank accounts under the investment assistance scheme through Rythu Bandhu.

He said that so far 9,500 farmer families have been provided Rythu Bima sops across the state and that parties who have committed sins have no place in the country.
