Will stand by KTR, says Harish

Must read

Gathering support for BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, BRS MLA Harish Rao said that BRS stands united against the political targeting of its leaders.
“The cases against KTR are part of a conspiracy to deflect attention from the Congress Government’s failures. KTR is a karyakarta of our party. Just like he stands by our karyakartas, the entire party will stand by him, when he is facing problems,” he asserted.
Reflecting on the state’s progress under BRS rule and the shortcomings of the current administration, Harish emphasized the symbolic and practical value of the BRS diary.
“These diary launches were once instrumental during the Telangana Movement, serving as reminders of our struggle and success. Today, they should inspire us to reclaim our position and inform people about the development achieved under BRS,” Harish stated.
Criticizing the Congress government’s performance, he said, “Revanth Reddy’s one year in power has been about cuts, diversions and cases. The welfare schemes introduced by KCR have either been cut or discontinued. Even promises made in their manifesto have been ignored.”
He labelled the Chief Minister as ‘Eggethal Revanth Reddy’, accusing him of reneging on key commitments, including farm loan waivers, Rythu Bandhu benefits and welfare schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi.
Harish also accused the government of prioritizing infrastructure projects benefiting private parties over social welfare programmes. “Funds are being spent on elevated corridors, metro expansions and six-lane roads near private lands, but there’s no money for Aasara pensions or Rythu Bandhu,” he charged.
Referring to alleged public attention diversion tactics, Harish mentioned the controversies surrounding KTR, arrests of tribal farmers in Lagcherla, and symbolic gestures like emblem changes, asserting that these were attempts to distract attention from governance failures.
