Will touch KCR’s feet 100 times: Health Director

Health Services Director Dr G. Srinivasa Rao said that he will touch the feet of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao 100 times and not just once.“Some are making me touching the feet of KCR an issue. KCR is a father figure for me. He is an efficient administrator and he is taking the state in the direction of Golden Telangana. I consider touching the feet of KCR as fortunate,” he said.

Participating in the Vana Mahotsavam held at Kothagudem on Sunday, Dr Srinivasa said that he had touched the feet of KCR for the sake of Bhadradri people and for sanctioning a Medical College for Kothagudem.

“The name of Kothagudem was not there in the list of medical colleges. I requested KCR to sanction a medical college for Kothagudem too and he included Kothagudem in the list of medical colleges. I went to Osmania Medical College to do MBBS. I would not have gone to Hyderabad for MBBS if there was a medical college in Kothagudem,” Dr Srinivasa said.

It may be recalled that Dr Srinivasa Rao touched the feet of KCR when KCR inaugurated the Kothagudem Medical College recently. Dr Srinivasa touched the feet of KCR when KCR got up from his seat and again when KCR left the place.Before touching the feet of KCR, Dr Srinivasa gave a letter-like thing to KCR. This went viral on social media. Netizens and opposition leaders criticised Dr Srinivasa asking him how a top official like him can touch the feet of the CM.
