With a cavalcade of 600 cars KCR rides into Maha

BRS President Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao intensified his political moves to unveil ‘Mahojwala Bharat’ (Bright India). As part of this, KCR is undertaking a tour of Maharashtra. On the first of his two-day tour, the CM visited the Dharashiv and Solapur districts of Maharashtra on Monday.

KCR embarked on his Maharashtra tour by road. Home Minister Mahmood Ali tied ‘Imam-e-Zaman’ on KCR and congratulated him before he started his trip from Pragathi Bhavan.

A convoy of around 600 vehicles carrying state ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs other public representatives and BRS leaders escorted KCR. The 6 km convoy followed the CM continuously and the roads on the way wore a festive look. The convoy will reach its destination, the Shri Vitthal Rukmini Temple in Pandharpur, at 8 am on Tuesday. There they will have darshan and conduct special pujas.

At 11:30 am, the convoy will arrive at Sarkoli village in Pandharpur mandal. At Sarkoli, NCP leader Bhagirath Bhalke, among others, will join the BRS delegation. KCR will address a public gathering in the village to commemorate the event. After lunch, the convoy will proceed towards Hyderabad at 1.30 pm.

BRS leaders and KCR’s fans accorded a warm welcome to the CM’s convoy which it passed through the Mumbai highway. Leaders threw flower petals and pink paper on the convoy all along the road and chanted ‘Jai Telangana, Jai KCR, Jai Bharat.’

After the convoy reached Dharashiv, local women leaders welcomed the BRS chief by offering him a special ‘Arthi’ in a traditional way.

KCR had lunch along with public representatives and BRS leaders. After that, KCR left for Solapur. Despite heavy rain, the CM’s convoy moved forward.

Local BRS leaders and sympathisers welcomed the BRS Chief by showering rose petals and flowers in Solapur. People gathered in large numbers to have a glimpse of the BRS Chief and rushed to shake hands with him.

The entire area reverberated with the drum beats to welcome KCR. Locals competed with each other to take selfies with KCR.

The gathering raised the slogan ‘Desh Ki Neta KCR’ and ‘Ab ki baar kisan sarkar.’ After the rousing welcome at Solapur, KCR went to Balaji Sarovar Hotel and rested for a while.

After that, KCR went to the house of BRS leader Dharmana Mundaya Sadul. The BRS Chief was received warmly at Sadul’s house in Bhavanarushi Pet in Solapur. Dharmanna Sadul served as Mayor for a term and was elected the Congress MP of Solapur Lok Sabha constituency for two terms.

He introduced his family to KCR and discussed the current political situation. Later, KCR returned to Balaji Sarovar Hotel for staying overnight.

Telanganites settled in Solapur greeted the Chief Minister speaking in Telugu and expressed their joy to see the BRS Chief in the house of Dharmanna Sadul. BRS leader Dharmanna Sadul is staying in the area in Solapur where Padmashalis have also settled.

Dharmanna Sadul was born in a poor Padmasali family from Telangana. His ancestors belonged to the Kannapur village in Karimnagar district. Sadul scaled heights as a public leader in Solapur.

Getting attracted to the ideals of the BRS, Dharmanna joined the BRS in the presence of KCR recently.

Ministers T. Harish Rao, Jagadishwar Reddy, Niranjan Reddy, Vemula Prashant Reddy, Koppula Eshwar, Allola Indrakaran Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, V. Srinivas Goud, Sabita Indra Reddy, Satyavathi Rathore, Gangula Kamalakar, BRS Secretary General, Rajya Sabha members K. Keshava Rao, MPs Nama Nageshwar Rao, J. Santhosh Kumar and MPs, MLCs, MLAs and others were also present.
