A woman was brutally murdered at Chillaboinapalli village in Musunuru mandal on the night of Thursday.
Police here on Friday said that Oleti Nagamani (35) was found dead in a pool of blood in her house. Injuries were found on her head.
Family members suspected Ravindra, the husband of the deceased woman, killed her. DSP Ashok Kumar Goud, rural CI R Ankababu, and SI Kutumaba Rao visited the scene of the offence. The police pressed the dog squad to get clues. An extramarital affair might have led to the murder, the DSP said.
The police registered a case and shifted the body to the GGH for postmortem.
