Work for development of NTR district, Collector exhorts people

NTR District Collector Dr G Srijana has urged district officials and people’s representatives to work diligently for the district’s development, drawing inspiration from the sacrifices made by those who fought for India’s independence. She stressed the importance of instilling the spirit of the freedom struggle, the significance of the Indian national flag, and its values in future generations.
Collector Srijana hoisted the national flag at the Collectorate in Vijayawada and later attended the event at the Armed Reserve Ground in Vijayawada. In her speech, she highlighted that the freedom enjoyed today is a result of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters, and it is the responsibility of everyone to fulfil their duties with dedication.
As part of the celebrations, Srijana presented awards to the best district-level officers. A total of 467 officials, including district-level officers, received meritorious certificates from the Collector.
NTR District Deputy Police Commissioner T Harikrishna, DRO V Srinivasa Rao, Vijayawada RDO Bh Bhavani Sankar, Nandigama RDO A Ravindra Rao, Tiruvuru RDO K Madhavi, KRRC Special Deputy Collector E Kiranmayi, and others were present.
