Both T. Raja Singh and Eatala Rajender are MLAs of the BJP. In fact, Raja Singh is BJP’s Floor Leader. The State government provided Y-Plus security to Eatala Rajender immediately after his wife’s allegations that BRS MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy is conspiring to kill Eatala.
But the State government took several months to provide a bullet proof car to Raja Singh although he frequently gets threats from unknown phone numbers. There was no response from the State government and police even though Raja Singh had informed the police about getting life-threatening calls.
The government provided a new bulletproof car to Raja Singh only after he left his troubled bulletproof car at Pragathi Bhavan after one of the tyres came off while he was travelling in it. The next day, he went to the Assembly on his motorcycle.
The BJP suspended Raja Singh after the Telangana government jailed him under PD Act. The HC quashed his detention under the PD Act and he was freed but the BJP has not yet withdrawn Raja Singh’s suspension.
BJP National Executive Committee Member Vijayashanthi reacted on Friday on the Raja Singh issue stating that the party has to withdraw his suspension as he is a committed BJP activist.
Telangana BJP leaders said the Union Home Ministry responded immediately and gave Y-Category security for Eatala Rajender hours after his wife Jamuna’s press meet.
But the BJP did not respond when Raja Singh was in jail. Raja Singh’s wife Usha Bhai tried her best but did not get any help. Even though the BJP is not responding on his suspension, BJP leaders are discussing the attitude of their leadership.
In fact, Raja Singh is the only BJP leader who won in the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections.
