Yarlagadda joins TDP

A day after meeting with Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Krishna district Cooperative Central Bank (KDCCB) former chairman Yarlagadda Venkata Rao, who had resigned from the YSRCP, joined the TDP at the Yuvagalam Padayatra campsite at Nidamanuru near Vijayawada on Monday.

After returning from Hyderabad, Rao met TDP general secretary and former minister Nara Lokesh at Nidamanuru. Lokesh gave a warm welcome to Venkata Rao in the presence of Krishna and NTR district leaders.

Later, both of them met privately and talked about the Yuvagalam Padayatra public meeting to be conducted at Gannavaram on Tuesday. They discussed the political picture of Gannavaram constituency.

Yarlagagdda Venkata Rao introduced himself to TDP Krishna district president and former MP Konakalla Narayana Rao, MLC Panchumarthi Anuradha, politburo members Kollu Ravindra and Bonda Uma Maheswara Rao, former MLAs Vangaveeti Radhakrishnan and Bode Prasad, former MLC Buddha Venkanna, senior leader Kesineni Sivanath and others.

As Venkata Rao reached the Yuvagalam campsite, many TDP leaders and cadres met him and took selfies. The party leaders gave him a grand welcome. Also, the leaders introduced Yarlagadda to the party workers in Gannavaram constituency.
