Prime Minister Narendra Modi showered praises on former Telangana BJP President Karimnagar BJP MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar who is also the party’s General Secretary. Modi greeted Sanjay saying that he has now become a ‘Desh ke Neta.’
Sanjay met Modi on Thursday along with his family. This is the first meeting of Sanjay with Modi after becoming the BJP’s General Secretary.
Modi said that Sanjay had worked hard for the BJP in Telangana and asked him to work hard to bring the BJP to power in the next elections.
Modi also enquired about his family and allowed them to take photos. It is learnt that Modi told Sanjay’s wife that she is speaking good Hindi and also asked her to teach the same to Sanjay. Sanjay’s wife said that her husband worked for the party 18 hours a day and had no time for the family during his days as the Telangana BJP President.
It is also learnt that Modi spoke to Sanjay’s younger son and asked him “Why are you so lean?”
Sanjay responded through Twitter saying that it was a day to remember. He added, “A day to remember….A moment to cherish every second given by Prime Minister Shri@narendramodi ji to my family as the gift of a lifetime.”
