YSRCP accepts Naidu’s challenge, says Sajjala

Must read

Government Advisor on Public Affairs and YSRCP State general secretary, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, boldly declared their readiness to confront opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu’s challenges.
Addressing the press in Tadepalli on Monday, he questioned Naidu’s willingness to face the electorate directly.
Sajjala remarked that despite the inevitability of TDP’s defeat, Naidu continues to issue challenges.
Sajjala challenged Naidu to enumerate TDP’s accomplishments during their five-year tenure across Andhra Pradesh. He contrasted this with YSRCP’s consistent delivery of welfare schemes over the past 58 months under CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership. Apart from criticising CM Jagan, Naidu has failed to showcase significant welfare initiatives, claimed Sajjala. He questioned Naidu’s contributions during his 14-year tenure as CM, juxtaposing it with YSRCP’s manifesto commitments that have been earnestly fulfilled.
Regarding Naidu’s rhetoric, Sajjala accused him of leveraging biased media support to propagate misinformation. He questioned the necessity of engaging with Naidu’s propaganda, emphasizing that the people’s verdict would soon silence Naidu’s aspirations. Sajjala alleged that Naidu lacks a clear agenda, evident in the aimless nature of TDP’s current meetings.
Pointing to the overwhelming public response to ‘Siddham’ meetings, Sajjala highlighted widespread support for CM Jagan’s governance. He cited the direct transfer of Rs 2.55 lakh crore into beneficiaries’ accounts as tangible evidence of YSRCP’s welfare initiatives. Sajjala welcomed Naidu’s challenge, asserting the legitimacy of YSRCP’s welfare programs.
Sajjala dismissed Naidu’s right to challenge YSRCP’s development record, given TDP’s lacklustre performance in the past five years. He urged Naidu to account for his previous administration’s achievements before issuing challenges. Referencing Pawan Kalyan’s criticism of Naidu’s rule, Sajjala reiterated YSRCP’s readiness to engage in constructive dialogue.
Sajjala urged Naidu to reconsider his stance on the volunteer system, emphasising CM Jagan’s inclusive governance approach. He cautioned against aggressive rhetoric, noting public scrutiny of Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Lokesh’s statements. Sajjala highlighted the widespread developmental strides under YSRCP’s governance, with 87% of the population benefiting directly from government initiatives.
Furthermore, Sajjala questioned the origins of Naidu’s vast wealth relative to his modest land holdings, ridiculing Lokesh’s suggestion to redistribute CM Jagan’s assets. He criticized Naidu and Lokesh’s reliance on biased media for amplifying their voices.
