The leaders of YSRCP have asked the Election Commission to take immediate action against TDP leader Nandamuri Balakrishna for his comments insulting Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. To this extent, the YSRCP leaders filed a complaint with the Additional CEO Koteswara Rao on Wednesday.
Later, YSRCP MLA Malladi Vishnu spoke to the media and said that the Opposition alliance are unable to bear the overwhelming response and support from the people to the ongoing Memantha Siddham bus yatra and are making conspiracies.
TDP Hindupur candidate Balakrishna’s comments made at the Kurnool meeting on April 16 are disgusting. It is highly objectionable to insult the Chief Minister and to make personal attack such as “Janakanthri and Mudarashta Valakam”. He said that such comments are against the election rules and hence brought to the notice of the EC. Vishnu expressed anger that the leaders of the alliance have no agenda and their main agenda is to send wrong signals to the people against YSRCP. He said that Balakrishna, who has not visited Hindupur for five years while TDP was in power, was talking ill about the Chief Minister.
On the other hand, Vishnu said that a complaint has been already given to EC against playing the song ‘Psycho Povali – Cycle Raavali’, which is against election rules. He said that the EC has been asked to immediately remove the song from TDP leader Nara Lokesh’s YouTube channel.
He also informed that the false articles were published in yellow media against the Chief Secretary and many other officials have been brought to the notice of the Election Commission.
The MLA was accompanied by leaders Ravela Kishore Babu, Ankamreddy Naga Narayanamurthy and YCP legal cell member Srinivasa Reddy
