Pawan vows to get captive mine using his influence with PM

Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief, Pawan Kalyan, has made startling claims regarding the Central government’s alleged disregard for YSRCP MPs, asserting that their legal entanglements have led to a lack of attention from the authorities.

Speaking before a massive crowd during the third phase of the ‘Varahi Yatra’, Pawan Kalyan pointed out the YSRCP MPs’ purported hesitancy to confront the issue of Visaka Steel Plant privatisation. He disclosed his personal appeal to the Prime Minister, urging against the privatisation and advocating the allocation of captive mines to boost the plant’s profitability.

Pawan Kalyan expressed his discontent over the unfortunate incident at Gangavaram port, where several fishermen lost their lives due to police action. The bereaved families, he lamented, are yet to receive justice. He also highlighted the displacement of two villages to make way for the port’s construction.

Doubting the administration’s capability to address the concerns of the fishing community, the Jana Sena chief questioned the feasibility of establishing a new capital city under such circumstances. “Jagan Mohan Reddy lacks the conviction to represent the steel plant issue before the Prime Minister,” he asserted.

Pawan Kalyan decried the alleged mortgage of Rs 25,000 crore worth of property and bemoaned the cessation of aid to aided schools.

Turning his attention to the YSRCP leadership, Kalyan called for a more substantive discourse and advised them to refrain from baseless rhetoric. “I am poised to demonstrate the transformation from revolutionary to political leader,” he asserted.

Accusing Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy of fostering a criminalised State apparatus, Pawan Kalyan quipped that should public awakening ensue, Reddy might just retreat to his hometown of Pulivendula. He invoked the principles of India’s democratic republic and cautioned against the establishment of a ‘Capital Republic’ within the state.

Challenging the Chief Minister’s approach to governance, Kalyan speculated about the potential repercussions if the people were to rise against him, citing the example of Egypt’s former President, Hosni Mubarak.

Kalyan attributed Jagan Mohan Reddy’s ascent to the Chief Ministerial position to fortune, urging citizens to rally for an alternative government in the upcoming elections. He reiterated his willingness to assume the role of Chief Minister, under the condition of suitable electoral mandates.

In a broader political context, Pawan Kalyan envisioned the formation of a new government, whether through Jana Sena or a coalition, promising alignment with prevailing political dynamics. He also touched upon the controversial Rushikonda Hill excavation, advocating for the preservation of sacred spaces.

Taking a sharp stance against Visakhapatnam MP MVV Satyanarayana, Pawan Kalyan exposed his criminal record from 2018 and questioned his election to Parliament. Warning of potential consequences, he suggested that criminal MPs might find themselves dismissed by the Prime Minister due to their tainted reputation. He further insinuated the involvement of YSRCP higher-ups in the kidnapping incident surrounding the MP, in tandem with local law enforcement.
