In a significant development in the Delhi liquor scam case, YSRCP MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy has become a crucial approver.
Sources say that he has already provided essential information to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) during their investigation. Notably, a majority of the individuals cooperating with authorities as approvers in this case are associated with the Southern group. MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy’s son, Magunta Raghava Reddy, and Sarath Chandra Reddy are among those who have already chosen to become approvers in this case, all of whom are currently out on bail.
Based on the insights offered by these approvers, the ED has intensified its questioning of numerous individuals. Raghava Reddy, Sarath Chandra Reddy, and Srinivasulu Reddy have collectively contributed critical information, driving the ongoing ED investigation.
It appears that the ED’s primary focus revolves around the flow of money from Hyderabad to Delhi. Over the past few days, the ED has interrogated approximately 20 individuals involved in hawala transactions. Furthermore, the ED recently re-questioned MLC Kavitha’s auditor, Buchibabu. It is anticipated that the ED will continue to interrogate additional individuals in the coming days. At present, the ED is conducting its investigation in a highly confidential manner.
