Must read

YSR Congress Party State general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has claimed that the party will come back to power in the State. It was informed that the swearing-in ceremony of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be held on June 9 in Visakhapatnam.
Meanwhile, a workshop and zoom meeting was held for the counting agents at the YSRCP central office on Wednesday. The counting agents were advised to act carefully as per the Election Commission guidelines. They were asked to be vigilant, especially with the agents of other parties.
MLC Lella Appireddy presided over the meeting. Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, who was the chief guest, said that precautions should be taken by the counting agents. He said that special arrangements have been made in the central office to clear their doubts. If they contact the central office, they will be provided with necessary advice and instructions. He asked them to be very careful about postal ballots and know the rules thoroughly.
“In Guntur, our party had to lose thousands of votes in postal ballots and everyone should remember that every vote is valuable. We have complained to the Election Commission regarding postal ballots and the instructions will be communicated to everyone.”
“Since the beginning of the election process, the Telugu Desam Party and Chandrababu Naidu have been managing the system and working to get things in their favour. Everyone should be fully aware of the rules and regulations of the Election Commission as the Opposition will try to manipulate them. Everyone needs to take proper precautions as the EC’s behaviour in the recent past has raised suspicions,” he added.
Lella Appireddy said that all chief counting agents have already been given appropriate instructions regarding 175 Assembly and 25 parliament constituencies. A booklet has been sent to them regarding the Election Commission regulations.
Retired RDO Prabhakar gave advice and suggestions to those who attended the meeting and cleared the doubts.
