The resonating message of social welfare and inclusive governance from the YSRCP government continues to echo throughout Andhra Pradesh with the ongoing ‘Samajika Sadhikara’ bus yatras passionately traversing the State. As the ruling party’s outreach programme marks its 20th day, it consistently draws substantial crowds across diverse regions.
Distinguished leaders representing BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities actively participate in the bus yatras, underscoring the YSRCP government’s unwavering commitment to the financial uplift of marginalised communities through targeted welfare schemes. Additionally, these leaders emphasize the significant progress made by Andhra Pradesh in various sectors over the past 4.5 years.
The ‘Samajika Sadhikara’ bus yatras took place in Palakonda constituency in Parvatipuram Manyam district (North Zone), Jaggayyapeta constituency in NTR district (Central Zone), and Srisailam constituency in Nandyal district (South Zone) on Friday.
North Zone
Deputy Chief Minister Peedika Rajanna Dora, addressing a massive gathering in Palakonda, highlighted the transformative changes witnessed in the state since CM Jagan assumed power in 2019. Dora stated, “CM Jagan has allocated more than 3 lakh acres of land to tribals during his four-and-a-half-year rule, a stark contrast to Chandrababu’s 40 thousand acres in his 14-year tenure.
The YSRCP government has already created 4.93 lakh government jobs, with 2.13 lakh being permanent positions, fulfilling the dreams of lakhs of people.”
Speaker Tammineni Sitaram echoed these sentiments, emphasising CM Jagan’s commitment to breaking down barriers to education, healthcare, and agricultural facilities. He lauded policies such as Amma Vodi, Vidya Deevena, Nadu-Nedu, and Jagananna Arogya Suraksha, attributing the state’s remarkable progress, including a 50% growth in GSDP to 13.17 lakh crore, to CM Jagan’s leadership.
Central Zone
Health Minister Vidadala Rajini, addressing the masses in Jaggayyapeta, commended CM Jagan as a revolutionary leader who provided respect and dignified lives to the backward community. She highlighted the inclusive cabinet, with 17 individuals from backward and marginalized sections holding ministerial roles, symbolizing a significant 50% representation at the ministerial level.
Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao underscored the transformative impact of CM Jagan’s leadership, specifically citing advancements in education and healthcare. He praised CM Jagan for ensuring quality education for underprivileged children, positioning the state as a model for others.
South Zone
Deputy CM Amzath Basha, addressing a public meeting, drew attention to the substantial increase in pension distribution under Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. Basha noted, “If Chandrababu Naidu provided pensions to 30 lakh individuals at Rs 1000, CM Jagan is now extending this crucial support to 64 lakh people at an enhanced rate of Rs 2750.”
MLA Hafiz Khan applauded CM Jagan as a visionary leader dedicated to uplifting the downtrodden, particularly during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. He highlighted CM Jagan’s effective crisis management and emphasized the government’s commitment to welfare schemes, even amid economic shutdowns.
MLA Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy provided a comprehensive account of the positive impact of welfare schemes in the Srisailam constituency. He proudly stated, “Beneficiaries in the Srisailam AC have received a total of Rs 764 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and an additional Rs 284 crore through non-DBT channels.” Reddy further highlighted the government’s commitment to inclusivity, with over 60 percent of positions at various levels allocated to individuals from weaker sections.
