In an incident reported from Chilkalguda on Thursday, at least 100 people fell sick after drinking contaminated water.
The affected people were shifted to a hospital after they complained of vomiting and diarrhea. People including children and adults suffered due to the contaminated water in Chinta Bavi.
Most of the residents stated the contaminated water as the reason for their deteriorating health. The authorities have been urged to ensure fresh water supply in the area.
