The All India Private Schools Association (AIPSA), in partnership with Grameen Vidya Jyoti Bharat Pvt. Ltd. (GVJB), has announced the establishment of 3,000 preschools across rural Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This ambitious initiative aims to deliver high-quality digital education at the primary level via satellite technology, ensuring access even in areas lacking internet connectivity.

Addressing the media in Vijayawada on Tuesday, AIPSA Director Augustine highlighted the programme’s potential to empower rural women and provide children with corporate-level education. Local women, trained as nursery teachers, will lead these schools, offering a zero-investment self-employment opportunity. The model, inspired by successful implementations in Kerala, is designed to cater to children from nursery to Class 1.

GVJB Managing Director Somasekhar announced that AIPSA would provide financial assistance of ?3 lakh to each preschool under the Women’s Self-Employment Medal programme. He encouraged eligible women with Intermediate, MTTC, or D El Ed qualifications to apply and seize this promising opportunity.

This initiative is poised to drive both educational and economic transformation in rural areas, creating employment opportunities for women while ensuring foundational learning for children through advanced digital methods.
