Alleging that there is no other leader like Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in deceiving people, the lone Congress MLC, T. Jeevan Reddy, demanded that the BRS government should release a white paper on Dalit Bandhu and BC Bandhu schemes giving details of beneficiaries. Addressing the media at the Assembly Media Hall on Monday, Jeevan said that KCR changed the SC, ST sub-plan to the SC, ST Development scheme.
Criticising the KCR government for issuing a GO on the Minority Bandhu scheme, Jeevan asked KCR to explain what happened to the Minority Action Plan in the last five years. He said that KCR is trying to deceive minorities. Quoting the statement of Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy that the BJP will scrap reservations for Muslims if it comes to power, Jeevan said that Muslim reservations were being implemented only for backward people among Muslims.
