In the context of the High Court allowing the transfer of teachers, a meeting was held with officials of the Education Department at the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) office on Thursday.
Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy directed the officials to make arrangements to commence the process of promotions and transfers of teachers in accordance with the HC verdict.The officials were directed to carry out the process without any misconceptions and with absolute transparency and to list the duties and policies connected to this. Eligible teachers were directed to send personal messages on behalf of the education department to apply.
TS officials have been advised to take all precautions to avoid technical problems in the online transfer process. The Minister asked them to review all arrangements connected to the process from time to time and suggested that state-level officers should be appointed as supervisors in the respective districts so that the process can be carried out smoothly.
