Priority to welfare of marginalised sections, says MLA

Shadnagar MLA and Chairman of State Public Sector Institutions Veerlapalli Shankar reaffirmed the Congress party’s commitment to the welfare of the poor, emphasising that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the government remains dedicated to ensuring the upliftment of marginalised sections of society.
Speaking at a program held at the Kothur Old Municipality Office, MLA Shankar highlighted the various welfare schemes being implemented by the Congress government as part of its mission to provide essential support to the underprivileged.
During the event, proceeding copies for subsidised cooking gas under the Mahalakshmi Scheme were distributed to beneficiaries, allowing them to avail cylinders for just Rs 500. Additionally, 1,454 people received Abhaya Hastam bonds aimed at supporting disabled individuals in the Kothur Municipality.
Shankar lauded the Congress manifesto, reiterating that every welfare scheme promised before the elections would be delivered. He urged the people not to be misled by false claims by opposition parties.
 He said that the Congress government would implement the six key guarantees outlined in their agenda, focusing on continuous welfare measures.
He also emphasized that the state will witness significant reforms under the Congress government’s public governance.
Mandal party president Sudarshan Goud, senior leader Harinath Reddy, Jagan, Apareddy Guda Mallesh, as well as other public representatives and officials were present.
