With Sri Rama Navami round the corner, all the arrangements were inspected at the Mithila Stadium where Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy’s Kalyana Mahotsava celebrations will be held at Bhadrachalam on April 17.
Hanumantha Rao, Commissioner of Department of Information and Civil Relations, said that Bhadrachalam shrine is the most glorious place in the world where Sitarama kalyanam takes place. The celestial marriage has been taking place in this field for several decades. It has been said in the Vedas that the devotees who watched the Kalyana Mahotsavam, indirectly will get a lot of merit.
Since a large number of devotees are likely to flock to Bhadrachalam to witness the marriage ceremony of Sitarama Chandraswami, all arrangements are being made to ensure that the devotees do not face any problem. Fresh water and water canopies are being arranged. A total of 24 sectors are being set up for the devotees to watch the marriage ceremony and LED TVs are being set up in each sector.
