There are reports suggesting that Allu Arjun is all set to play four characters in his upcoming high-budget film directed by Atlee. The film is currently being shot in Mumbai and has been making headlines ever since the makers announced it.
Initially, it was reported that Allu Arjun would play a dual role, but now, some Hindi web media sources claim that he is not playing two but four roles in the film.
While it may be new for some Telugu audiences to see an actor take on so many roles in a single film, there is historical precedent. NTR played three roles in Dana Veera Sura Karna, while Krishna, Sobhan Babu, Chiranjeevi, Kalyan Ram, and Jr NTR have also portrayed triple roles in various films.
Legendary actor Sr. NTR played five roles in the mythological film Srimadvirata Parvam, and Akkineni Nageswara Rao took on nine roles in Navaratri. Kamal Haasan famously played ten characters in Dasavatharam and four characters in Michael Madana Kamaraju.
Now, if the latest reports are to be believed, Allu Arjun will be seen in four distinct roles in this untitled film. One of the characters is said to be an elderly man. The movie is a science fiction drama, and the makers have officially announced Deepika Padukone as one of the female leads. Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna are also playing important roles, while Janhvi Kapoor’s name is reportedly under consideration for another significant part.
