Yellow and red flowers carpet Seed Access Road

On his way to the secretariat to assume office on Thursday, N Chandrababu Naidu received a grand welcome from the Amaravati farmers along the road. The farmers welcomed Chandrababu with flowers and they spread around 1,000 kg of yellow and red flowers on the Seed Access Road. It’s none other than a red carpet welcome for Chandrababu. Amaravati farmers stated that Amaravati got its previous glory after Chandrababu took charge as Chief Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the farmers and women participated in the years-long Amaravati Parirakshana Agitation because their villages were neglected during the five years of the YSRCP rule. There was no development in all 29 villages. Until the TDP came to power, the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) did not take care of the development of their villages, they alleged.
Even though they organised the agitation for the protection of Amaravati, former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy never tried to talk to them. At last, they were happy that the founder of Amaravati, Chandrababu Naidu took charge as Chief Minister, they added.
