The bustling town of Gajuwaka witnessed an electrifying spectacle as activists and supporters thronged the streets, dancing and celebrating during Gudivada Amarnath’s nomination filing ceremony as the YSR Congress party candidate for the Gajuwaka Assembly constituency.
Within a mere two months of his candidacy announcement in the Gajuwaka constituency, the overwhelming show of support for Amarnath has sent ripples of concern through his opponents’ ranks.
Prior to filing his nomination, Minister Amarnath commenced his day with a visit to Simhachalam, where he offered special prayers to Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. Seeking blessings from elders, he embarked on a grand rally from his residence in Mindi, traversing through Zinc Gate, Old Gajuwaka, and China gantyada. Along the route, supporters adorned Amarnath and YV Subbareddy with floral garlands.
Accompanied by MLA Tippala Nagireddy, former MLAs Tippala Gurumurthy Reddy, Chintalapudi Venkataramaiah, Rajya Sabha member YV Subbareddy, Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, City Mayor Golagani Hari vekanta Kumari, local MLA Tippala Nagireddy, and former Mayor Pulusu Janardhan Rao as well as other dignitaries including Amarnath’s mother, Gudivada Nagamani, and party State general secretary Urukuti Apparao, the nomination filing process was completed amidst a wave of support.
Expressing gratitude to all attendees, Amarnath urged all to cast their votes in favour of the fan symbol.
