Animal Husbandry Minister opens fish market complex

Minister for Animal Husbandry and Fisheries S Appala Raju, along with Chief Whip M Prasada Raju and Collector P Prashanthi, inaugurated the Fish Market complex in Narasapuram on Wednesday.
The fish market complex was constructed in Narasapuram at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore in which the fishermen can sell their fish.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister S Appala Raju said that the newly constructed fish market would be very useful for the firemen as they could sell their fish in the market on their own.  He called upon the fishermen to avail the opportunity.  He lauded government chief Whip Mudunuri Prasad Raju for his efforts in the construction of a fish market complex.
Chief Whip Prasad Raju said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is giving priority to developing the coastline to create more opportunities for the fishermen. He called upon the fishermen to supply quality marine products to the people.
Collector Prashanthi asked the fishermen to utilize the incentives being extended by the government.  The government is implementing various welfare schemes, especially for the fishermen community, she said, and asked them to avail the opportunity to strengthen themselves financially.
RDO M Achut Ambarish, State Agnikula Kshatriya welfare corporation chairman Tirumani Nagaraju, municipal commissioner K Venkateswara Rao, municipal chairman Barri Venkataramana and AMC chairman Gubbala Radha Krishna were among those who were present.
