AP Assembly elections to impact TS politics

Must read

The results of forthcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections will have impact on Telangana politics. If TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu becomes Andhra Pradesh chief minister  it will help Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy consolidate his leadership in Telangana. At the same time, the BRS may face problems politically and it may weaken further. If guru (Chandrababu) and sishya (Revanth  Reddy) become the chief ministers in both Telugu states the relations between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are likely to improve and it will help resolve the  long-pending issues between both the states.
If Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy retains power it will help the BRS and its president K Chandrasekhar Rao as the differences will continue between both states and also between the two Telugu Chief Ministers. Political equations will also change in Telangana depending on the results of Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. If Chandrababu becomes the Andhra Pradesh chief minister, in Telangana former TDP leaders, particularly those who are present BRS MLAs, will restore the old relations with him.  With the influence of Chandrababu they may maintain good relations with the Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and may also switch their loyalty. If this happens it will have impact on BRS politically.
If Jagan Mohan Reddy continues as the Chief Minister after Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, this will not happen in Telangana. In Andhra Pradesh Congress has no chance of coming to power in the Assembly elections. Under the circumstances, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy wants the defeat of ruling YSR Congress which will help his political guru Chandrababu become the chief minister. At the same time the BRS wants that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy should retain power in the coming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.
In Telangana, the TDP has no chances of coming to power in the near feature. TDP supremo Chandrababu does not want the BRS coming to power in future and will help indirectly to strengthen the leadership of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Congress. In the same way, in Andhra Pradesh, the Congress has no chance of coming to power. At the same time the Congress does not want YS Jagan to continue as the Chief Minister.
The Congress will have no objection if Chandrababu becomes the Chief Minister as its main aim is to prevent Jagan becoming the Chief Minister again.
