Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena has been the focal point of administration in Andhra Pradesh since March 16, following the release of the election schedule. Therefore, even his role has come into the picture now, with the opposition parties blaming Saturday’s stone pelting at Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s convoy on ‘security lapse’ during YSRCP’s campaigning in Vijayawada. Already YSRCP has lodged several complaints in vain against leaders of TDP and its alliance parties for their ‘derogatory’ and ‘provocative’ comments against Jagan and other ruling party leaders.
