The Finance Department has issued a Budget Release Order (BRO) releasing Rs 18,241 crore for waiving the agricultural loans of farmers.
Today, in the first phase of its implementation, the Finance Department disbursed Rs 237.85 crore to waive loans ranging from Rs 37,000 to Rs 41,000 of 62,758 farmers.
This momentous decision is a testament to the government’s dedication to farmers. With this reprieve, the farming community can now look forward to brighter prospects.
