Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj streams uncut on Netflix

Must read

Rumors have been circulating about possible edits in the OTT release of Daaku Maharaaj, starring Balakrishna. Reports suggested that Netflix had removed scenes featuring Urvashi Rautela, particularly in response to controversy surrounding the song Dabidi Dabidi, which was criticized for certain choreography elements.
However, the film, which started streaming on Netflix from Thursday night, remains uncut. Every scene that was shown in theaters, including Urvashi Rautela’s sequences and the Dabidi Dabidi song, is intact on the streaming platform.
Directed by Bobby Kolli, Daaku Maharaaj was released on January 12, aiming to capitalise on the Sankranthi festival. The film performed well in its first week but saw a drop in collections later due to competition from Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. Despite this, trade analysts consider it a successful venture.
