Annamaiya District Incharge Chandra Mouli, President Sailokesh, State Kisan Morcha Horticulture Convenor Manohar Goud demanded that the state government should immediately compensate the farmers who lost their crops due to the effect of the Mauching cyclone and restore the damaged electric transformers and electricity farms. State Kisan Morcha Committee According to the instructions of Annamaiya District Raichoti Co-Convenor Nirmal Kumar organized a strike program on the problems of fruit orchards affected by the Mauching typhoon in Annamaiya districts. In-charge K Venkatrama Raju and president of Kisan Morcha Jayaprakash Narayana Varma were present. On this occasion they said that 18 out of 30 mandals of Anamaya district have been declared as drought mandals by the district authorities. Similarly, due to the effect of Mauching typhoon, the authorities have reported that agriculture and fruit gardens have been damaged in 14 mandals across the district. Bharatiya Janata Party On behalf of us, we also observed the damaged crops and inquired about the sufferings of the farmers. We requested the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party to support the farmers who lost. They criticized the state government for not doing anything but saying that they will help if funds are allocated. They asked the CM why he did not directly inspect the damaged crops except for visiting the farmers brothers who suffered losses as Tu Tu mantra during his visit to Tirupati. They said that after the Modi government assumed power in the country in 2014, many programs were initiated for the development of farmers.
In this Strike program, OBC District President Repana Shiva Prasad, District General Secretary Anand Gajapathi Raju along with BJP leaders, activists, supporters, donors and women participated.
