The Telangana State Police Recruitment Board has taken a key decision regarding the appointment of SIs and Constables. It has decided to implement the HC order to include marks for seven multiple-choice questions. As per HC orders, the list of those who have passed will be placed on the Board’s website from January 30.
Preliminary examinations for the recruitment of SIs and Constables have been conducted already and results have been declared. But some questions have more than one correct answer in the given options. The board announced results by assigning marks according to the answers it confirmed. Some candidates approached the High Court on this.
After considering the petitions, the HC ordered extra marks for multiple-answer questions. Now by implementing the High Court judgement some more candidates are likely to be selected for the Physical Endurance Test (Part 2).
In addition, the Board said that details of the candidates selected for physical endurance tests (Part-2) will be put on the website from Monday. Candidates can log in with their hall ticket numbers.
The Police Recruitment Board has announced that Part-2 applications will start from February 1. The time to apply is till 10 pm on February 5. Those who have applied for Part 2 will be given fitness tests from February 15. Eligible candidates are allowed to download admit cards from February 8 to 12 pm on February 10.
