Dr Botsa Jhansi Lakshmi, representing the YSRCP, officially entered the electoral fray for the Visakhapatnam Parliamentary seat by filing her nominations on Monday. The nomination process took place at tat the district collectorate office, where Dr. A. Mallikarjuna, the Election Returning Officer, accepted her submissions.
Accompanied by party leaders, including Visakhapatnam Mayor Golagani Hari Venkata Kumari, State Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Rajya Sabha Members YV Subbareddy, and Industry Minister Gudivada Amarnath, Dr. Jhansi Lakshmi’s nomination papers were proposed, showcasing a formidable unity within the ranks of the YSRCP.
Addressing the media after completing the nomination formalities, Dr. Jhansi Lakshmi underscored Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy’s visionary agenda for the development of Visakhapatnam. She fervently urged the electorate to rally behind the YSRCP, emphasizing the party’s unwavering commitment to the city’s progress.
