The BRS MLAs from Medchal district have expressed displeasure against Minister Mallareddy.They said that all nominated posts are being taken to his constituency Medchal leaving aside other constituencies. Five MLAs met at the residence of Malkajigiri MLA Mynampally Hanmantha Rao in Dulapally.
Uppal, Kukatpally, Serilingampally, and Quthbullapur MLAs Beti Subhash Reddy, Madhavaram Krishna Rao, Arikepudi Gandhi, Vivekanand and others attended the meeting.
Later, the leaders spoke to the media, refuted Mallareddy’s stance and said that the market committee’s chairman’s decision was also taken unilaterally.The MLAs expressed anguish at all nominated posts being taken to Medchal. MLA Mynampally Hanmantha Rao said that only Mallareddy’s associates are getting posts. “Protocol is not being followed.
I am hurt that people are saying this meeting is about elevating my son. This meeting was exclusively about cadre. Schemes alone are not important, party cadre is the key,” Mynampally said.
