In another shock to the BRS its Warangal MP Pasunuri Dayakar quit the party and joined the Congress on Saturday. Dayakar joined the Congress in the presence of TPCC Working President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud.
Speaking on this occasion, Dayakar said that the Congress government has been implementing its 6-guarantees and so he is joining the Congress. He said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has been his friend for the last 30 years.
Dayakar asked KCR to explain why he gave a party ticket to Kadiam Kavya, who had no connection with the Telangana Movement. It may be recalled that the BRS refused the Warangal ticket to Dayakar and the party gave its ticket to Kadiam Srihari’s daughter Kadiam Kavya.
Dayakar said that former Ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Kadiam Sriharo destroyed the BRS in Warangal. They insulted me by not following protocol, Dayakar said. He said that from now on he will be a Congress activist.
