Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had a meeting with AICC chief Mallikarjuna Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal on Tuesday at New Delhi for around two hours.
It is learnt that the Chief Minister discussed with the Congress brass the allocation of portfolios to the new ministers and changing the portfolios of existing ministers.
He also discussed filling the remaining posts in the TPCC Executive Committee, corporation chairman posts, categorisation of SC reservations and the BC caste census.
The CM discussed with Kharge, Rahul and Venugopal about changing the portfolios of existing ministers and give them to the new ministers.
The CM also discussed with the brass the filling of corporation chairman posts so that they can be given to those who did not get posts in the TPCC Executive Committees announced till now. The leaders also discussed TPCC working presidents, local body elections and strengthening the party in Telangana.
Another topic discussed is organising two public meetings on SC reservations categorisation and the BC caste census. The meeting on SC reservations categorisation would be held in Medak, and the meeting on BC caste census at Suryapet.
It is learnt that the CM has invited Rahul Gandhi and Kharge to attend these two meetings.
The high command had summoned Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, who had gone to New Delhi along with his wife, to discuss the change of portfolios.
