Centre must increase reservations for OBCs: VH

Senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao demanded that the Centre should increase reservations for OBCs. He also demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should reveal what he has done for the OBCs of Telangana.
VH asked the Prime Minister to give an assurance on BC reservations when the PM visits Telangana next. He said that the Prime Minister had failed to give an assurance till now although he had discussed it with the PM.
Speaking to the media in New Delhi on Monday, VH said that former AICC President Rahul Gandhi has been learning about the problems of farmers and the poor during his padayatra.
VH recalled the statement of Rahul that he had said that justice should be done to SCs, STd and BCs. VH said the lives of the BCs would have been better if Rahul Gandhi became the Prime Minister.
VH said that Rahul said the Congress will remove the cap on 50 per cent reservations if the Congress comes to power at the Centre and subsequently increase reservations.
He appealed to Congress activists to take the message of Rahul Gandhi to every village in Telangana.
