Cheap and dirty politics, alleges KTR

On the issue of notices concerning the Kaleshwaram project, BRS working president KTR alleged that the Congress government was playing “cheap and dirty politics” in the name of inquiries. He said the objective behind such moves is to re-tender the projects and benefit from 20–30% commissions.

“Public administration has now become percentage-based administration. These notices are just a distraction from the real agenda—cancel the existing tenders and award new ones to collect cuts,” he alleged.

KTR said that Justice Pinakini Ghosh, who is heading the commission of inquiry into Kaleshwaram, had already stated that the report and investigation were complete. “Why is the deadline being extended again? The government owes an explanation,” he demanded.

He also clarified that the BRS has not yet received any formal notice on the Kaleshwaram project and will decide on the next course of action once such notice is officially communicated.

Accusing the Congress of running a campaign of deceit, KTR concluded by demanding the immediate completion of the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project to provide relief to drought-hit farmers in erstwhile Mahabubnagar.
