Bandi Srinivasa Rao, who was elected as the president of APNGO Association, along with general secretary KV Siva Reddy and panel members called on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office here on Thursday.
Later, Srinivas Rao spoke to the media persons and said that CM Jagan has made it clear that steps will be taken to immediately pay the DA due to government employees on Sankranti. He said that the CMO officials maintained that there was a delay in issuing the circular due to the Sankranti holidays for three consecutive days. He lashed out at the AP Government Employees Union leader KR Suryanarayana’s allegations that AP NGOs are working for the Chief Minister’s approval. He warned that APNGOs never colluded with the government regarding the issues of the government employees hence APNGOs will not allow baseless allegations and false propaganda will not be tolerated.
Srinivasa Rao faulted the fact that some government employee unions had complained to the governor about employee issues. He claimed that it should be kept in mind that trade unions have to comply with the rules and if they do not do so, the government has the power to cancel the recognition.
He said that the CM has promised to solve all the problems and if the government does not take action, they are ready to go for a movement if necessary.
