Minister for Forests, Energy, Environment, and Mines, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy inaugurated the new State Forest Department office ‘Aranya Bhavan’ in Mangalagiri on Thursday.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, the Minister expressed happiness to inaugurate the new office and said that in the days to come, the Forestry Department shall be closer to the people and improve its performance.

Minister Peddireddy said that people are happy under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy across the state who is working with the aim of doing good for every family. He said that Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan criticized Jagan’s regime as a dictator’s regime unable to digest public support for CM Jagan and further said that they will take their (opposition) criticism and insults as blessings.

He said no CM in the state in the past has given such good governance in AP as CM Jagan in 50 years of my political life. YS Jagan will become the Chief Minister again with the support of the people in the future elections, he said.

The Minister severely objected to the filthy language used against CM Jagan by TDP senior leader Ch Ayyanna Patrudu and said that soon people will teach befitting lessons to these leaders.

Further, Minister Peddireddy conducted a review meeting with the forest department officials and directed the forest officials to immediately prepare DPRs for further development of Visakhapatnam and Tirupati Zoo Parks in the state.

He advised that the government is appointing special directors for Tirupati and Visakha zoos and that necessary steps should be taken under their direction.

He instructed the officials to provide new animals in the zoo parks as part of the exchange programme and take necessary permissions from the Central Zoo Authority.

He asked that the quality of food provided to the animals kept in the zoo should be good, and the cooperation of the experts of the Veterinary University Colleges should be taken to monitor this.
