Simultaneously, similar housewarming events will be held in selected layouts across all districts in Andhra Pradesh. According to officials from the housing department, the total number of house sites distributed across the state stands at 30.7 lakh, including layouts, possession certificates, and TIDCO houses.

Among these, BCs claim the largest share with 54%, followed by SC at 20%, ST at 6%, and others at 21%. The value of the land provided to beneficiaries ranges from Rs 2.5 to 5 lakhs per house site, depending on the location. The government’s total expenditure on land distribution ranges from Rs 75,000 Crore (minimum) to 1.5 lakh Crore. In some localities, the market value of house sites ranges from Rs 7 lakh to 10 lakh in Visakhapatnam, and from Rs 5.0 to Rs 7.0 lakh in the CRDA area and Samarlakota, among others.

He appointed senior officers of the Housing Department as Special Officers, instructing them to regularly inspect the layouts and Jagananna colonies, taking necessary steps for the completion of houses. Additionally, he conducted comprehensive reviews with District officials to address issues at the grassroots level.
