In a heinous act, a 19-day-old infant boy was murdered at Gandhinagar here on Tuesday allegedly by his mother.
Police said that the throat of the infant was slit open, causing his instantaneous death. The police suspect the hand of the mother of the deceased infant Shanu Bee.
The relatives of the infant told the media that the mother of the deceased infant, Shanu Bee, had a dispute with her husband. She bit the throat of her infant son. They rushed to the house after hearing noise and found Shanu Bee with blood on her mouth. The police registered a case and started an investigation.
