Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics Nara Lokesh emphasised that collective efforts had played a crucial role in saving the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and asserted that this spirit of collaboration must continue for the state’s future progress. He made these remarks while meeting Union Ministers Srinivas Varma, Ram Mohan Naidu, Pemmassani Chandrasekhar, along with other TDP MPs and BJP leaders, who paid a courtesy visit to him in New Delhi on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Lokesh pointed out that within just seven months of the coalition government taking charge in the state, they had successfully secured funds for key projects such as the Visakhapatnam Railway Zone, Amaravati, Polavaram, and the Steel Plant, all through joint efforts. He lauded the dedication of Union Ministers and MPs in driving the state’s development.
Expressing his happiness over the swift resolution of crucial issues, including the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Lokesh called it a matter of great satisfaction.
