Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced that the P4 model, aimed at poverty eradication, will be launched from Ugadi. Speaking on the initiative, the CM said that through this model, the government seeks to support the top 10% of the economically well-off population and the bottom 20% of the underprivileged, ensuring significant socio-economic benefits.
To formulate comprehensive policies for its implementation, the Chief Minister directed officials to develop a dedicated portal to collect public opinions, suggestions, and feedback. He emphasised that the P4 model would be executed by incorporating people’s views, particularly in poverty alleviation.
During a review meeting with Planning Department officials at the Secretariat, CM Naidu discussed the launch of the P4 model. He noted that industrialists, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and individuals from affluent backgrounds have come forward to support the underprivileged. The government plans to consolidate these efforts under a single framework to ensure the model’s effective implementation.
Additionally, a special survey will be conducted to identify the most marginalised sections and extend necessary assistance. The CM instructed officials to collect relevant data for this purpose. He also highlighted that several industrialists have volunteered to develop their native towns and mandals. Those interested will be personally invited to participate in the launch of the P4 model on Ugadi.
Reiterating the government’s commitment, CM Naidu said the Public-Private-People Partnership (4P) model would mark a crucial step towards poverty eradication.
Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand, Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, and Planning Department officials were present.
