Cong plans huge meetings with Rahul, Kharge

The Congress has decided to organise two huge public meetings in Telangana. One will be on the caste census and the other about SC categorization.
Addressing the media after the CLP meeting at MCRHRD on Thursday, TPC President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud said the party will organise a huge public meeting in Suryapet on the caste census which would be addressed by the Leader of the Opposition (LOP) Rahul Gandhi.
He said the second meeting focused on SC categorisation will be organised in Medak and it would be addressed by AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge. He said they are going to New Delhi to invite Rahuk and Kharge to the meetings.
He said that BRS Working President KT Rama Rao went to New Delhi as per a secret agreement with the BJP.
He said they had discussed at the CLP meeting the strategies to be adopted for local body elections and that MLAs expressed their opinion at the meeting. He said they had also cleared the doubts of the MLAs.
Mahesh said the meeting was like a face-to-face programme between the CM, AICC in-charge General Secretary Deepa Das Munshi, Ministers, MLAs and MLCs. The CLP meeting directed the Ministers and MLAs on how to take government schemes to the people.
He said the TPCC Executive Committee will be announced within two to three days.
Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka gave a PowerPoint presentation on the state’s finances and SC categorisation at the CLP meeting.
Mahesh said the party directed MLAs and DCC presidents to launch an extensive campaign on caste census and SC categorisation.
