Industries Minister KT Rama Rao came down heavily on the Congress during his visit to Yellareddy. He said that if voted to power, the Congress will launch a kumbh mela of scams.
“Did Congress vultures ever come up with the idea of Rythu Bandhu? Did they ever give free electricity to farmers? Revanth said in the US that just three hours of power supply is enough,” he said.
He said that the Congress wants to scrap Rythu Bandhu, Dalit Bandhu, Dharani Portal and free electricity for farmers.
He recalled that the situation was so pathetic that the Congress had to sell seeds in police stations. KTR made it clear that farmers will get irrigation water and 24-hour electricity.
KTR suggested that people should recall the times of Congress rule like a film reel.
“What did the Congress not do after having power for 50 years? What will you do if you give them power now? Nothing was done in the last 50 years,” he said.
“Medical colleges did not come up when Shabbir Ali was a minister. But medical colleges came up under the leadership of KCR,” KTR said.
He spoke about Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima, crop loan waiver and Kanti Velugu schemes. “All classes have benefited from KCR’s rule. For the first time in the history of the country, we are giving pensions to beedi workers and takedars. When elections come, the Congressmen will come like Sankranti bulls,” KTR said. He asked people not to believe what they say.
He said that only KCR can protect the interests of our state and “Not Delhi slaves. If the Congress and the BJP are in power decisions will be made in New Delhi. But if we are in power decisions will be made in Telangana itself,” said KTR. He said the BJP should not be given even their deposit money in Yellareddy.
