Industries Minister KT Rama Rao said that the cost of implementing the Congress guarantees exceeds the Telangana budget.
He was speaking after Koneru Satyanarayana, the BJP President of Bhadradri Kothagudem district, joined the BRS. KTR said that not even a single development project was announced by the Congress. “Take money if the Congress gives as they did A to Z scams, but vote for the BRS,” he said.
KTR said that Tummala is trying to portray his agony as people’s agony and asked why the Sita Rama Project wasn’t completed until KCR came.
Making fun of the six guarantees of the Congress he said, “The Congress gives the power cut guarantee, drinking water crisis guarantee, fertilisers and seed shortage guarantee, Rythu Bandhu and Dalit Bandhu will end guarantee, every year CM will change and political instability guarantee and the Telangana will go to the dogs guarantee.”
He said that apart from screening movies like the ‘Kashmir Files,’ ‘Kerala Story’ and ‘Razakar,’ the BJP has done nothing more in the last nine years.
“They are trying to incite people. The ‘Razakar’ has reopened old wounds. The BJP is playing with the emotions,” he said.
KTR commented that the BJP has not kept any promise included in the State Bifurcation Act.
“Modi is looting the country and tying it to Adani. If Kishan is fond of Telangana he should hold a dharna in front of Modi’s house to give jobs to the unemployed,” he said.
“Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi come and shamelessly ask for a chance. What did they do when they were given power 11 times? They are giving false promises.
