To run a film smoothly and ensure that the film is completed on time and on-budget, which requires a broad set of skills, the role of a producer plays one of the key factors to present a good film to the audience. We can call producers the ‘underdog heroes’ of any cinema.

Singanamala Kalyan, is making his debut as a producer with the film Bhaag Saale, directed by Suryakantha fame Praneeth Sai, starring Sri Simha, Neha Solanki in the lead roles.
With an aim to produce at least three projects in a year, Kalyan, an American NRI, who is associated with many Telugu films as a financier, co-producer and now as producer has rolled out his own banner “Cine Valley Movies”. Next movies lined up on “Cine Valley Movies” are with director Sanjeev Reddy (ABCD, Aha Na Pellanta fame) and a comedy movie on cards.

Asked the reason to make his debut as a producer with Bhaag Saale, Kalyan informed us over an exclusive conversation, “I have been financier and executive producer for many production houses for the last 12 to 14 years. I made my foray as a producer with Bhaag Saale, because many production houses told me that I should come in front of the screen and somewhere I had it within me to come in front of the screen as a producer and Bhaag Saale’s story excited me for the same. Bhaag Saale is a crime comedy. It has a mix of socio-fantasy drama. It is a fun roller coaster and that caught my attention. Even though I was in the US, I was always updated about Telugu cinema as I was in constant touch with many production houses.”

Kalyan, an Anantapur native wants to be the best content producer. “For me, content is the king and I want to give good content to the Telugu audience. I don’t want to stick to a particular genre. I want to do different movies with different stories and give the audience a unique experience. I want to produce at least three films under my banner,” said the new producer, adding, his latest film Bhaag Saale will have a theatrical release in January, 2023.

Asked why one should watch Bhaag Saale in theaters, he quickly responded saying, “To relax. You can get relief from your mundane life and get distressed and go on a fun ride.”

On choosing Sri Simha as the film’s lead actor, he said, “We went to Sri Simha with this and it worked out. I saw Mathu Vadulara of Sri Simha. He is choosing unique stories and they are reaching the younger section of the audience. That triggered me to approach him for Bhaag Saale too has a youthful new of a kind story. After working with him, I can say that Sri Simha is a cool guy, well-balanced and I see a lot of potential in him. He is a thorough professional. It was a pleasure working with him.”

Nandini Rai, Varshini, Viva Varsha, Vijayan will play key roles in the film, which has music by none other than Kala Bhairava, who is rocking the music scene in Tollywood in the present times. Song Kutha Ramp from the film is an instant hit that has crossed three million views already.
