Union Minister of Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs Smriti Zubin Irani called upon people to defeat the 30 per cent commission KCR government and vote for the BJP. She said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao himself admitted that BRS MLAs are collecting 30 per cent commission from Dalit Bandhu beneficiaries.
Addressing the Naari Shakti Vandan Mahila Sammelan programme held at the Dubbaka Assembly constituency headquarters here on Friday, Smriti Irani said that on Vijaya Dashami, adharm has to be defeated and so people should vote for the BJP and make dharm victorious.
“Dear mothers and sisters you know during the coronavirus pandemic all of you got two doses of vaccine. It was made possible by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Did Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi or your Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao supply the vaccine? We gave Rs 27,000 as MSP for paddy while it was only Rs 3,000 during the Congress government. For cotton and paddy, we gave Rs 1,07,000 crore in the last 10 years. 35 lakh farmers in Telangana are getting Kisan Samman Yojana and they received Rs 9,000 crore because of Modi. The rail track to Siddipet, Elkaturthi Road, the Rs 6,000 crore Ramagundam Fertilizer factory, the smart city tag for Warangal and Siddipet, spending Rs 23,000 crore on MNREGS to establish permanent assets and the opening of 1.13 lakh Jandhan bank accounts was made possible by Modi,” she said and referred to the Mudra loans to seven lakh beneficiaries and loans to five lakh street vendors.
“The NDA government constructed 2,500 km of NHs and textile parks. The Bhvya Ram Mandir is coming up because of Modi. Then to whom should votes go?” she asked.
Referring to the BRS Government in the state, Smriti said that K. Chandrasekhar Rao came to power in promising Neellu, Nudhulu and Niyamakalu but cheated the people in all these things.
“Kaleshwaram could have been completed for Rs 40,000 crore. But even after spending Rs 1 lakh crore it has not been completed and 60 per cent of people are unable to get water. In the case of Nidhulu, the surplus state is now in deep trouble with a debt of Rs 5 lakh crore. The funds went to the ruling family. In Niyamakalu, all ruling family members become employed while the youth was taken for a ride and cheated. Teach a lesson to Ravana and let the BJP win,” said the Union Minister and asked the Chief Minister why he had failed to make the ‘Jaya Jayahe Telangana’ song by Ande Sri as the state song.
She warned people that any vote for the Congress will go to the BRS as in the past Congress MLAs had joined that party. She also referred to the TSPSC question paper leak and how the unemployed were cheated.
BJP MLA M. Rahgunandan Rao said that he will make Dubbak better than Siddipet, Sircilla and Nizamabad if given one more chance. “I made the new bus stand possible. I got the 100-bed hospital constructed. Whatever that is due for the constituency I am getting by fighting with the government. Lok Sabha MP and BRS candidate K Prabhakar Reddy has been claiming that he brought the bus stand and hospital. He is MP from 2014. Then why all these were not established then? Who stopped them?” asked Raghunandan.
