In a significant political development, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena Party (JSP) have officially set the date for their Joint Action Committee meeting, aimed at deliberating on critical political matters, including election preparations and potential alliances. The inaugural joint action committee gathering of TD-Jana Sena has been fixed for October 23 (Monday), in Rajahmundry, coinciding with the Dasara festival.

As per TDP and JSP officials, the meeting, to be presided over by TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh and JSP chief Pawan Kalyan, is scheduled to commence at 2 pm on Monday.
The committee’s agenda is set to encompass discussions on a collaborative action plan for addressing public concerns, recent political developments, and the seamless coordination between both political entities.

The confirmed participants from both the Telugu Desam Party and Jana Sena have already been announced. The decision to hold this pivotal meeting in Rajahmundry stems from the current detention of TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu at the Central Prison. The objective is to strategise and revitalise political activities in the region.

Notably, the TDP had recently appointed a dedicated coordination committee to work closely with the Jana Sena Party, as per the directive of Chandrababu Naidu. The committee members include Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, Telugu Desam Party State President; Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Member of TDP politburo and Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council; Payyavula Keshav, PAC Chairman and MLA; Pitani Satyanarayana, Former Minister; and Tangirala Soumya, Former MLA.

This committee has been established to facilitate smooth coordination between both parties and is expected to play a vital role in the upcoming Joint Action Committee meeting.
